I woke up this morning to a phone call... Its went like this.

Hey Josh, Where are you hiding out?

Me: ummmm What time is it.

9:15

Me: Oh Shoot, Ill be there as soon as i can.


So I was 2 hours late for work today. It is the second time I have done this over the 2 years I have worked for Capstone Construction. What a horrible feeling, you wake up sometime feeling well rested, other times very out of it and you get that sick feeling in your stomach when you know you should be somewhere else at that exact moment in time.

Both times when I slept in for work this was how the conversation went when I showed up to the Job site.

Person: You finally made it. What happend

Me: (I slept in duh) I didn't set me alarm properly.

Person: Thats the best excuse you have?

Me: yup.

End of conversation.

I don't get why when you tell someone a boring reason (which is true) about why you slept in they think it is a lame excuse. Its not an excuse its just what happend. there is no excuse.

Luckly the Boss is away on holidays... Oh wait the Boss reads this. well its a good thing im putting over time in these days. I worked from 9-330 and then 5-1130.


Tomorrows day starts at 8... Lets hope I don't sleep in
